Cheap NBA 2K21 MT 2K’s next-gen NBA installment, NBA 2K21, is quite massive on Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox Series X.

With storage being limited on the next-gen consoles and the required external storage not coming in cheap, players will want to see compact file sizes for the next-gen titles. While Ubisoft has seemingly managed to get the file size of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla down to current-gen levels, 2K clearly hasn’t as NBA 2K21 weighs in at a monstrous 121.7GB on the Xbox Series X.

The news is coming from a Reddit user who posted a screenshot of the official Xbox Store details for NBA 2K21, which even if it's a pre-release version of the game, should weigh in at over 121.7GB. Even if the developers make it smaller before release, it should still require 100GB+.

As spotted by a Reddit user, the game’s Xbox store page reveals that on the Xbox Series X/S, NBA 2K21 will require a whopping 121.7 GB of free storage space. That’s a massive, massive requirement no matter how you look at it, but for Xbox Series S – which has just 364 GB of useable storage space – that’s going to be a pretty big dent.

Last week, 2K gave us our first look at “The City,” which is a much larger version of “The Neighborhood.” Of course, the new City setting will only be available for players on next-gen consoles, as players on current-gen platforms will still be in the Neighborhood.

Over on their official blog, 2K described the next-gen City setting, saying that it’s their most ambitious execution of a virtual basketball community ever.

NBA 2K21 next-gen gameplay is here. Captured on PlayStation 5, this is the first true look at what gamers can expect on next-generation consoles this November. NBA 2K21 will be available on November 10 for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S globally, November 12 for PlayStation5 in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, and November 19 for PlayStation 5 in all other regions.
