Casual gaming publisher PopCap shocked the MMO world when they released a totally free Bejeweled add-on for World of Warcraft last September, but they're about to top themselves with today's news: Peggle is coming to World of Warcraft today, completely free of charge.

    The fine folks over at WoW Gold Insider landed the scoop on World of Warcraft's version of Peggle, which is apparently more than just a simple in-game Peggle window. According to their early look at the project, Peggle for WoW Gold is fully integrated into the World of Warcraft experience, allowing players to earn talent points to spend on game-altering skills, as well as letting users challenge each other to Peggle duels. There's even an option to divvy up raid loot based on who can make the best shot. Players can speak to NPC without any WoW Gold.

    The add-on hasn't yet arrived on PopCap's site, but WoW Insider insists that it's coming sometime today. That's probably for the best, because now you have some time to bid adieu to all of your loved ones before you submerge yourself in a level-grinding, peg-shooting coma for the remainder of your life.

This is now digital crack, surely? If I were still playing, this would be my life. WoW and Peggle. Maybe an hour a day set aside for sleep and food/water, but that would be it. My wife would leave me, my daughter disown me.
