There are a few things one must take into consideration when it comes to choosing a wow gold server. Since World of Warcraft is a multiplayer game, there is an option to enable or disable PvP combat. In layman's terms, you need to decide if you want players of the opposing faction to be able to kill you, and if you want the option to kill them back. Both sides to this argument are quite valid. While some more casual players tend to like focusing only on completing quests, others say that not playing on a PvP server is like playing the game on 'Easy mode.'
Locked in an unending battle, the Horde and Alliance have a history chronicled in books upon books of lore. Each faction represents a union of races, and their hatred of the other faction is strong. The Alliance consists of Humans, Gnomes, Dwarves, Night Elves, and Draenai. The Horde consists of Orcs, Trolls, Tauren, Undead, and Blood Elves.
Picking a race is the important thing to consider here that you won't mind seeing the back of for what could be 80 levels. You might also consider the racial traits detailed in the box for each race. These traits are the perks for playing each race. It may be an extra few weapons levels, a boost to a profession, an increase to any reputation gain earned, or even a race-specific spell.
You will determine the class you want to play within each race. In the game, there are a great many classes; each of them is very different from the others. However, not all classes are available to each race. For example, a Gnome has the choice to be a Warrior, a Mage, and a Warlock and so on, but no Gnome can be a Shaman. If you wish to be an Alliance Shaman, you are restricted to being a Draenai. Likewise, the only Horde race that can be a Paladin is a Blood Elf.
That is to say, there are three basic types of classes from which to choose. Healing is pretty self-explanatory. You will have spells that are good for healing yourself and other players. Tanks are very sturdy, able to take a lot of damage before death. DPS is able to blast away and do a great deal of damage to a target. There are two types wow gold of DPS as well. You can choose to be melee DPS, such as a Rogue, or ranged DPS with a class like a Mage or a Hunter. The class you choose determines which of these you will be good for. Some classes are versatile and can be used for more than one of these. For example, a Paladin can be Healer or Tank; or a Druid can be Healer, Tank, or either DPS.
