NeoWiz and Round8 Studio has launched the PC version after multiple betas on August 6th, complete with all of the enhancements and improvements made to the MMO to fit more aptly on PC. Originally a console release on Xbox and then PlayStation, Bless Unleashed has undergone some changes to make it a bit easier to control and navigate using mouse and keyboard.

So, how did the PC launch of Bless Unleashed go? I guess we’ll say “bumpy” to start off with. The action MMORPG’s launch certainly saw a lot of early interest, with SteamDB recording over 61,000 players hopping in initially. However, this hasn’t happened without cost, as the game’s servers apparently strained under the load. Round 8 Studio is offering some freebies as recompense and is also expanding the Dream Dungeon server to accommodate the crowd.

The devs have greatly improved the combat since I last played and it actually feels somewhat passable now, It’s faster, more impactful, the dodge roll actually works now and you feel less rooted in place,

there’s still a lot of room for improvement though.

•     other upcoming MMOs like New World for some people.
•     There are lots of mounts to collect for those of you that are into that.
•     I thought the world bosses felt pretty epic and rewarding.
•     The game can be played with both controller and mouse keyboard.
•     The graphics are just okay – nothing special.

Bless Unleashed PC is an action combat MMO, meaning you need to point your reticule (mouse cursor) at whatever you want to beat up on. Pressing on the scroll button on your mouse “locks on” to the target but that seems to be a bit glitchy. Glitchy to the point of not being a deterrent, more to the point of being an annoyance. It seems to occasionally lose lock while you’re kiting or dodging. Thankfully, the developers are making updates to this mechanic in their next major update called “Awakened”. Nevertheless, this never impacted the fun factor for me mostly because graphically speaking spells and actions are a beauty to behold while you’re dancing and dodging.

Additionally, the initial launch came with some known issues such as the Steam overlay crashing the game for some players and Lumena from founder’s pack sales apparently duplicating to other regions and servers. For now, players are advised to disable the Steam overlay, and the devs are in the process of deleting the extra Lumena “so as not to confuse players.”

BU Star Seeds can be used to trade items on the marketplace, quickly travel to teleports scattered around the world, instantly resurrect your character in a Near Death situation, and it is an exosuit health technology that increases the player's core health by 1 unit.
