AION KINAH-Dramatic Ends for Dglad in BG9 Brackets

Affix, Litreocola, and Terreo's RMP team was live streaming most of the weekend (from Affix's PoV) all of their matches from 2300 and up. Holy play¡¯s double healer ret paladin team led by Euneek AION KINAH, at the time, and for a couple weeks I believe, held the top spot in the ladder. Affix's RMP played very well winning around 85% of their games as they battled up to the 2400 rating that Holy play was sitting at in order to make them queue against them. As you read in Ming's tale of the trials and tribulations of running RMP, you'd know this was no easy feat to accomplish.
On Saturday, Affix's RMP finally threatened Holy play¡¯s rating enough to get them to queue up directly against them for a showdown on live stream in front of 300+ viewers to determine the 3v3 Deadly Gladiators from BG9. The first game began with Affix's RMP playing against Holy play on Blade's Edge with the RMP starting with a rush down on the shaman to force multiple cool downs from both the priest and paladin including hand of protection. After those were used, the RMP swapped to Holy play¡¯s priest for the rest of the game and eventually the CC's caught up to Holy play¡¯s shaman and the priest went down putting Affix's RMP within smelling distance of the title. Player may speak to NPC without any AION KINAH.
However, the following game was on Blade's Edge once again but Holy play managed to control the RMP's burst better this game, eventually outlasting Terreo's manna bar, forcing him to drink which resulted in Litreocola dying to Ernie¡¯s burst when left alone. This evened the series but Affix's RMP still had a good chance as long as they could pull off the results they saw in the first game once again about AION KINAH.
But, as much as RNG favors RMP in many situations, lady luck frowned on Affix's RMP that day by giving them Daralan Arena three games in a row against Holy play which is by far the worst map to play against the double healer ret comp against due to the Line-of-Sight breaks involved in going around the boxes. It makes it extremely hard for the mage to do any sort of damage and hard as well for the rogue to chase behind the boxes without fear of dying instantly in a HoJ.
After dropping all three games in a row to Holyplay on Dalaran Arena, Holyplay stopped queueing that day and never had the need to queue again for the rest of the weekend because of Affix's RMP never being able to consistently win back up to a threatening rating. In fact, on the last day when they were streaming AION KINAH, they were simply trying to get back into Gladiator range because they had tanked so hard.
I won't lie when I say I've had a good amount of dislike for Affix in the past, but I really feel for him and his team after watching all of this happens. To be literally inches away from winning the gold only to have it be taken from them mostly because of factors outside of their control must suck beyond words.
