You're in the same position that I was in cheap wow gold a month ago. I read all of the forums on creating a guild, choosing officers, and thoroughly describing what my intentions were. As it turns out the guild was disbanded in 3 weeks because I recruiting about 15 people and had half of them leave in less than 2 hours one day and had the rest of them slowly fade away one by one. I don't know... I guess it doesn't work sometimes.... But, maybe you will have better luck on your server.
It's not easy but something I've found rewarding. I didn't start my guild, my hunter was in it and promoted to the #2 rank when the guild leader suddenly went missing. I waited several months as all the others either left or stopped logging in. I made the decision to try to rebuild and got a GM to promote me to guild leader. It's taken 2 years to get my guild to the point it is today, our roster clearing to just me several times. Out of each recruitment drive you'll likely only keep 1 or 2 of them for more than a week or so but there's good people out there. Perseverence and you'll find players that make your guild a home.
Seeing that someone else had the same experience of believing they did everything right and still having it not work out made me feel much better about my own experience in cheap wow gold guild leadership. My BF started the guild with me and three of his family members as the core. We thought we had a solid concept -- we watched ti grow -- then it all fell apart.

I attribute at least some of our problems to basic human nature. No one wants to be a part of something that's not a sure thing. Most people have limited play time and want to join an established guild that will get them da lootz. No one wants to be patient while a guild builds the numbers for raids, they want to raid now. And those that enjoy building something, are out building guilds of their own.

I don't know how people do it successfully. Even coming here as frequently as I do, and reading all the stickies, it still seems like there's an "X Factor" in its success or failure. I guess that's true of all cheap wow gold that we do...the restaurant with the good location and menu that failed anyway...the talented band that just never got that big-label contract...and even the restaurant with the strange cuisine in an out-of-the-way part of town that fills up every night anyway.
