The stats on a PvP wand are generally more helpful than what the wow gold Spellstone offers you. Let's compare the Spellstone to the Merciless Gladiator's Touch of Defeat, which you can buy for a mere 8000 honor and 10 EotS marks - pretty cheap. The spellstone gives you +1.11% to spell crit, and once per 3 minutes (used 1 - 2 times per average 2v2 match) you can remove all harmfull magic effects. The wand gives you 15 stamina, 13 intellect, 14 resillience, and 16 spell damage. Try taking your Felhunter's Devour Magic off of auto-cast and use something like the following macro.
Spellstone all the way especially if you're nether prot spec. I love getting a nether prot on the last shadow spell from a SP or lock and then wiping them all(except Curse of Agony) and being immune for the wow gold follow up. Once used feel free to swap out wand but re eq the spellstone in 1 minute 30 seconds if the fight is going to last more than 3 minutes.
Well I tried this macro for a week. I am really disappointed.
The only situation I was smiling was against UA Lock / Shadowpriest, but playing with Felhunter and a Priest at the moment I don't see a point for Spellstones, I regret. Indeed, I *could* save my behind, but actually I can't recall a single match I would have won with a spellstone.
Why not making it? I am a tad short on time (depiste 150 haste): 4 Healthstones, Imp out and gone wow gold for Dispell trash, 4 Buff for Dispell trash... It adds up and sometimes gets hectic. Maybe I am just too dumb to see the point.
